Rapaport speaks to Carson Daly about new A Tribe Called Quest documentary

Check out this interview Michael Rapaport did with Carson Daly. Rapaport directed the new documentary Beats, Rhymes & Life about A Tribe Called Quest. The film made it’s debut in January at Sundance and will be released to the public sometime later in 2011. We can not wait! For anyone questioning this actor/director hip hop cred let it be known that Rapaport named one of his sons “Maceo Shane” after De La Soul’s Plug 3 Vincent “Maseo” Mason. Respect.

Wishery by Pogo

Pogo is a producer and artist formally under contract with Disney and just now able to release much of the content created while working there. To create Wishery Pogo sampled vocal syllables, musical chords and sound effects recorded from the 1937 Disney classic Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs. It’s refreshing to find a producer that actually knows how to construct rhythm.

Exit Through the Gift Shop: A Banksy Film (Movie Trailer)

“The supposed story of a French film maker who befriends Banksy, only to have the artist turn the camera back on its owner with suprising results. Featuring Shephard Fairey, InvaderBanksy and some of the world’s most respected graffiti artists.” Rhyme Library definitely suggests checking out the film.
